One of the great joys in my life is watching the many varieties of birds in our yard. We live near a patch of woods and have three feeders and two bird baths. There is a constant flurry of activity from morning to dusk. There are days where I see as many as fifteen different types of birds! I've photographed the Red Bellied Woodpecker, Cardinal, Goldfinch, Mourning Dove, Nuthatch, and more. It was great fun using these photos to create a pattern to show off their beauty and color- each, a miracle of nature.

To create these designs, I embellished the original photo using my favorite app called Procreate. I removed the background from all of the bird photos and created a "mask" of each bird using the Superimpose app. I repeated the bird shapes using a photo of the sky as the background.
