For the past week I have been admiring the tenacity of a garden orb weaver spider who spins its web each evening between two trees near my front door. I first noticed it when I accidentally walked through the main cross web which unfortunately collapsed the intricately woven orb. Every night since then, the cross web has been strung much higher- the spider wasn't going to let all its work be destroyed again! The innate intelligence of nature is incredible!
I love to layer photos using an app called Superimpose. The first photo below was taken with a flash but it made the spider look white so I took another photo with a neutral background and merged the two photos. I added the sky photo for interest.
