I am enamored and mesmerized each day as I watch the live cam on www.dceaglecam.eagles.org showing the eagle pair, Mr. President and The First Lady, raising their two newly born eaglets, in a beautifully constructed nest, built high up in a poplar tree, in Washington, DC. What a gift to be able to observe this beautiful eagle family 24/7! Both eagles parent their eaglets with such immense dedication. Right now mama is teaching her little ones little by little to feed themselves- she feeds them some fish then steps back and leaves it right in front of them to encourage self sufficiency. Love it.
